There was no enemy, only a prisoner. The prisoner was a persistent, dark spot on my cheek—a small, physical fact that had overstayed its welcome by about two years. I had tried the creams, the serums, the “clinically proven” solutions that promised redemption in a 1.7-ounce bottle. I had paid the price, both in currency and in hope, each time a quiet voice in my mind whispered, “You know this isn’t how it works.” And that voice was right. The spot remained, a stubborn monument to my own focused belief that it was a problem.

But on that day, something shifted. It wasn’t a new product that sparked it. It was a crystallization of a knowledge I’d carried intellectually for years but had never fully weaponized with conviction: My mind is not a passive observer of my reality; it is the sole projector creating it. The spot wasn’t just on my skin; it was being held there, moment by moment, by the relentless beam of my attention. I wasn’t looking at a problem I needed to fix. I was looking at the evidence of my fixation.

This is the story of that confrontation. It’s not a skincare guide. It’s a mind-care manifesto. It’s about the pivotal moment when I stopped trying to change the reflection and started changing the source of the light.

The Trap of the “Problem to Fix”

For two years, my relationship with this spot was defined by a simple, seemingly logical equation: Problem + Solution = Resolution. This is the fundamental operating system of our physical reality. Something is broken; you apply a fix. The car is making a noise; you take it to a mechanic. The faucet leaks; you replace the washer.

I applied this logic faithfully. I became a minor connoisseur of cosmetic chemistry. I studied ingredients, read reviews, and applied treatments with the solemn discipline of a lab technician. Yet, with each failed attempt, the spot became more than a blemish. It became a symbol of frustration, a personal failing, a tiny crack in my sense of control. My focus on it wasn’t diminishing; it was intensifying. Every glance in the mirror, every touch, every thought of “I need to cover that” or “Why won’t it go away?” was like throwing a log on a fire. I was feeding the manifestation with the very energy I hoped would extinguish it.

This is the first, most critical trap: Believing you have a problem that needs to be fixed. The moment you accept that frame, you enter a contract with persistence. You are telling the universe, “This is a real, solid thing that requires my ongoing effort and attention.” The universe, which is essentially a obedient and literal-minded genie, responds: “As you wish.” It keeps the problem real and solid by funneling your own energy—your thought energy—into its continued existence.

I knew this. On some level, I’d always known it. I’d read the books, heard the lectures. “Your thoughts create your reality.” It’s a spiritual bumper sticker. But standing there, face-to-face with the physical proof of my own creation, the knowledge moved from my intellect to my gut. The creams didn’t fail because they were defective. They failed because I was using them within the “problem-frame.” My underlying belief—“I have this spot that needs removing”—overrode any potential potency of the potion. I was trying to use a physical-world tool to solve a mental-world creation, and it’s a mismatch of catastrophic proportions.

The Pivot: From Fixing the Face to Solving the Mind

So there I was. The products had been tried and had testified to their own irrelevance. I was at the end of the external solution line. And in that quiet desperation, clarity emerged.

The decision wasn’t, “I will make this spot disappear.”
The decision was, “I will resolve this from my mind.”

This is the quantum leap. It’s the shift from manipulating effects to altering causes. I realized the issue was never the spot. The issue was the mind that was holding the image, the story, and the belief of the spot. The physical manifestation was just the lagging indicator, the echo of a mental broadcast that had been playing on a loop for 24 months.

I looked into my own eyes in the mirror and made a declaration to the only entity that mattered in that equation: myself.

“It is done. My face is clear. There is nothing to fix.”

Now, this is where the rational mind, trained in the school of cause-and-effect, screams in protest. “But you can SEE it! It’s RIGHT THERE! You’re lying to yourself!” That voice is the guardian of the old reality, the defender of the momentum. And it’s not wrong about the momentum.

Understanding the Physics of Mental Momentum

This is the most crucial, most overlooked aspect of conscious creation. Thought has momentum. Belief has inertia. When you’ve focused on something for years—be it a skin condition, a lack of money, a painful relationship pattern—you have built up a psychic charge around it. It has become a well-worn neural pathway, a familiar frequency. When you decide to change the thought, you don’t instantly erase that charge. You stop adding energy to it. But the existing energy has to dissipate, and it does so in waves.

Think of it like turning off a powerful fan. The blades stop spinning immediately when you hit the switch, but the air in the room continues to swirl for a while, gradually settling into stillness. Or, as I understood it in that moment, like an echo.

You shout a belief into the canyon of your mind: “I HAVE A PROBLEM!” The primary sound hits—that’s the intense, immediate reality of the issue. You then change your belief. You stop shouting. But the echo of that old shout still bounces back to you, growing fainter each time. “It’s still there… see? It didn’t work… you’re still broken…”

Most people, upon hearing that first echo, conclude, “See? I knew it. Nothing changed. This manifestation stuff is bullshit.” They then resume shouting the old belief, re-energizing the manifestation with renewed vigor.

The master, however, understands the echo for what it is: residual energy, not current truth. When the echo comes—and it will—you don’t engage with it as evidence. You simply observe it and make your fresh decision, with even more calm conviction.

Echo: “You still have that spot.”
Fresh Decision: “I appreciate that perception, but I have decided my skin is clear. That is an echo of an old story. I am focused on the clarity I know is already true.”

Each time you do this, the echo loses power. Its intensity diminishes. The time between echoes lengthens. Until one day, you realize the canyon is silent, reflecting only the new song you’ve been singing.

The Alchemy of Redirected Focus: From “Black Spot” to “Clear Face”

So, I had made the decision in my mind: “It is done.” But the mind is a busy place. You can’t just create a vacuum. If you try to simply “not think about the spot,” you’ll think about not thinking about it, which is still thinking about it. The energy of your focus must go somewhere. This is where active, deliberate creation begins.

I stopped focusing on the absence of a problem. I started focusing on the presence of the desired state.

This is a subtle but monumental shift in direction. It’s not “I am fixing the spot” (energy flowing to the spot). It is “I have a clear, healthy, radiant complexion” (energy flowing to a new mental image).

I began to cultivate the feeling of already having clear skin. I didn’t visualize the spot vanishing in a poof. I visualized myself washing my face and feeling smooth skin. I imagined the sensation of running my fingers over my cheek and feeling nothing but clarity. I remembered past times when my skin was clear and attached that feeling to my present. I spent maybe 30 seconds, a few times a day, not in desperate pleading, but in calm acknowledgment of a fact my senses had yet to catch up with.

What was happening energetically? The pipeline of my attention—a pipeline that had been gushing directly onto the image of “the spot”—was now being gently but firmly rerouted. The old image began to starve. The new image began to gain substance, vibration, and magnetic pull in the quantum field.

The World as Mirror: What About Other People’s Opinions?

A logical question arises: “Okay, but what if someone else points it out? What if my wife asks about it? Doesn’t their focus feed it?”

The conversation provided the perfect, liberating answer: It only matters if it matters to you.

Other people’s opinions, comments, and perceptions are just more potential streams of energy directed at the idea. But you are the gatekeeper of your own consciousness. You are the central projector. If someone says, “What’s that on your face?” and you internally panic, think “Oh no, they see it too, it’s so obvious,” then yes, you have allowed their comment to hook you back into the old “problem-frame.” You’ve let their focus become your focus.

But if, when they comment, your internal response is a calm, “Oh, that’s just an old echo fading away. My skin is clear,” then their comment holds no power. It’s like a pebble thrown at a fortress. It doesn’t change the structure. Their energy passes by because you are not resonating with it. You are tuned to a different station—the station of “Clarity and Completion.”

This is true sovereignty. The world reflects back to you what you are broadcasting. If you broadcast insecurity about the spot, the world will mirror opportunities to feel insecure about it. If you broadcast the quiet, knowing certainty of clarity, the world’s comments will either not come, or will bounce off a field of unshakeable self-definition.

The Unfolding: When the Physical Catches Up

I won’t tell you the spot vanished in 24 hours. It didn’t. The momentum of two years of focus had to play out. But something changed immediately: my relationship to it. It was no longer a “problem.” It was just… a thing. A temporary shadow on its way out. I stopped checking it obsessively. I stopped carrying its emotional weight. The mental charge was gone.

And then, over the following weeks, it began to fade. Not in a linear, predictable way, but in fits and starts. It would seem lighter, then slightly darker, then lighter again—those were the physical “echoes.” Each time, I refused to be pulled back into the old story. I held the line with my mental decision.

One day, I realized I hadn’t thought about it for a full 48 hours. I went to the mirror, the same mirror where the war had been declared, and I had to look closely to find any trace. A week later, it was simply gone. Not fought into submission, but released through disinterest. It faded from my mind, and thus, inevitably, from my face.

The Greater Lesson: Your Life as a Mirror

This experience was a microcosm, a perfect, contained laboratory for a universal principle. The mirror on my wall was just a piece of glass. The true mirror was my physical reality, perfectly reflecting the contents of my mind.

Every “problem” we face—financial lack, health issues, relationship strife, professional stagnation—is our own “black spot.” We stand before it, pouring the energy of our frustration, our fear, our “fix-it” desperation directly into it, guaranteeing its persistence.

The revolution begins the moment you change the question. Stop asking, “How do I fix this?” Start asking, “What decision can I make in my mind that would render this irrelevant?”

Decide your finances are abundant, and then feel the feeling of abundance. Redirect your focus from the lack to the flow.
Decide your body is healthy and vital, and then feel the feeling of vitality. Redirect your focus from the symptom to the strength.
Decide your relationship is harmonious, and then feel the feeling of harmony. Redirect your focus from the conflict to the connection.

You are not denying reality. You are recognizing a more fundamental reality: that the physical is the lagging indicator, the slow-moving echo of a mental and emotional broadcast that has already happened. You are choosing to change the broadcast now, knowing with unwavering faith that the screen—your life—will eventually show the new picture.

The mirror doesn’t argue. It only reflects. What will you decide to see?

Get Lost with Grace

You are free. There are only paths with different consequences, alignments, and lessons. Our task is not to find the ‘right’ one, but to choose with awareness, walk with integrity, and adapt with grace.

There is no universally ordained, cosmically scored Right or Wrong Path.

Let that sentence sink in. Feel the weight lift, or perhaps the terror rise. We are born into a world screaming with signposts. Go to school, get the degree, land the career, find the partner, buy the house, raise the kids, save for retirement, and on and on, a pre-fabricated highway stretching toward a horizon called “Success.” We are handed a map before we can even walk, and our entire lives become an exercise in not getting lost. But what if the map is a forgery? What if the treasure isn’t at the end of the plotted route, but buried somewhere in the uncharted wilderness you’ve been taught to fear?

This isn’t nihilism. This is liberation. The realization that there is no cosmic scoreboard is the most terrifying and empowering truth you will ever encounter. It means the anxiety of choosing the “wrong” major, the “wrong” job, the “wrong” city—that gut-wrenching fear of straying from the path—is based on a fundamental illusion. The universe isn’t grading you. It’s waiting for you to start drawing.

The Tyranny of the Single Narrative

From childhood fables to corporate ladder-climbing myths, we are fed a single narrative: life is a linear journey toward a fixed destination. Deviation is failure. Pausing is laziness. Turning back is defeat. This narrative is a powerful drug. It provides a cheap sense of security and a clear metric for comparison (Are they ahead of me? Am I behind?). But it’s also the source of our deepest existential dread—the feeling that we’re somehow failing at life itself, even when we’re checking all the boxes.

Look at the person who left law to become a potter. The executive who quit to thru-hike the Continental Divide. The family that sold everything to live on a sailboat. We call them “brave,” but often with a whisper of “reckless” underneath. Why? Because they stepped off the map. They rejected the pre-scored path and in doing so, they held up a mirror to our own quiet compliance. Their very existence challenges the validity of our own chosen route, and that is profoundly unsettling.

Consequences?

So if there’s no Right Path, what is there? There are only paths with different consequences, alignments, and lessons.

This is the crucial pivot. Instead of seeing life as a multiple-choice test with one correct answer, see it as an open-world sandbox game with infinite questlines. Every choice—every path—unlocks a different set of experiences, challenges, and rewards.

Consequences are neutral data points. Choosing Path A might lead to financial stability but creative stagnation. Path B might bring artistic fulfillment and financial precarity. These aren’t “good” or “bad” in a cosmic sense; they are the inherent trade-offs, the physics of your decision. The corporate job has the consequence of structure and resources. The artist’s life has the consequence of freedom and uncertainty. One is not morally superior to the other; they are different equations.

Alignment is your internal compass. Does this path resonate with your core values? Does it make you feel energized or drained? Does it allow the expression of your unique talents and curiosities? A path can have “good” consequences (wealth, status) but be utterly misaligned, leaving you with a soul-deep fatigue that no vacation can cure. Another path might have “difficult” consequences (instability, criticism) but feel so aligned it’s like breathing—effortless and essential.

Lessons are the curriculum of the path you’re on. The “safe” path teaches lessons about discipline, systems, and patience. The “risky” path teaches lessons about resilience, faith, and self-reliance. The path of heartbreak teaches depth and compassion. The path of easy success often teaches very little. There is no path without a lesson. The question is, are you paying attention?

The Three-Part Antidote: Choose, Walk, Adapt

If the goal isn’t to find the mythical Right Path, what is our task? It’s a dynamic, three-part practice:

Choose with Awareness. This is the death of autopilot. It means making decisions not from a place of fear (”What will people think?” “What if I fail?”) or blind obligation (”This is just what you do”), but from a place of conscious inquiry.

Ask: What are the likely consequences of this choice? How aligned does this feel with who I am at my core? What lessons might be waiting for me here?

This awareness turns choice from a stressful gamble into a sacred act of creation. You are not discovering your path; you are authoring it, sentence by sentence.

Walk with Integrity. Integrity here means wholeness. It means bringing your entire self to the path you’ve chosen. If you choose the corporate path, walk it fully—seek mastery, build relationships, innovate. Don’t spend your days yearning for the artist’s garret. If you choose the garret, commit to the craft with everything you have. Don’t begrudge the lack of a 401k. The misery we often experience isn’t from the path itself, but from the divided mind—one foot on the path, one foot in a fantasy of another, leaving us stretched and suffering. Walk the path you’re on as if you chose it (because you did). This is where power is found.

Adapt with Grace. This is the non-negotiable rule. Paths are not static. You are not static. The aligned path at 25 may become a cage at 40. The consequences you were willing to accept then may be intolerable now. The lessons have been learned, and a new curriculum awaits. Adapting with grace means releasing the death-grip on your “original plan.” It means observing the feedback from your life—the boredom, the excitement, the new curiosity, the growing resentment—and having the courage to course-correct. It’s not a failure to change paths; it’s a failure not to when everything in you is calling for a change. Grace is the understanding that all paths are provisional, all choices are experiments, and the only real mistake is refusing to learn from the data your life is giving you.

The Invitation to Get Lost

So, we arrive at the beautiful, daunting conclusion: You are free. Terrifyingly, magnificently free. The pressure is off. You cannot choose incorrectly in the eyes of the universe. You can only choose, and then experience what that choice contains.

The most compelling lives, the ones we can’t stop reading about, are never the ones that followed the manual perfectly. They are the messy, daring, circuitous journeys of people who traded the map for a compass. They are tales of alignment over approval, of lessons learned in the trenches of consequence, of graceful pivots that look like failures to those still clutching their maps.

Your life is not a problem to be solved by finding the right answer. It is a mystery to be lived, a story to be composed in real-time. The path isn’t out there, waiting to be found. It is being laid down, right now, with every aware choice you make, every step you take with integrity, every graceful adaptation to the terrain of your own becoming.

Stop looking for the path. Start creating it. The wilderness is calling. And it holds everything you’re looking for.

You must first love yourself before you love another

You are He manifesting as you. They seem suited to the storm that the world is going through right now.

You must first love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and joyfully being what you are, you fulfill your own abilities, and your simple presence can make others happy.

You can-not hate yourself and love anyone else. It is impossible. You will instead project all the qualities you do not think you possess upon someone else, do them lip service, and hate the other individual for possessing them. Though you profess to love the other, you will try to undermine the very foundations of his or her being.

When you love others, you grant them their innate freedom and do not cravenly insist that they always attend you. There are no divisions to love. There is no basic difference between the love of a child for a parent, a parent for a child, a wife for a husband, a brother for a sister. There are only various expressions and characteristics of love, and all love affirms. It can accept deviations from the ideal vision without con-demning them. It does not compare the practical state of the beloved's being with the idealized perceived one that is potential.

In this vision, the potential is seen as present, and the distance be-tween the practical and the ideal forms no contradiction, since they co-exist.

Sometimes you may think that you hate mankind. You may consider people insane, the individual creatures with whom you share the planet. You may rail against what you think of as their stupid behavior, their bloodthirsty ways, and the inadequate and shortsighted methods that they use to solve their problems. All of this is based upon your idealized concept of what the race should be — your love for your fellow man, in other words. But your love can get lost if you concentrate upon those variations that are less than idyllic.

When you think you hate the race most, you are actually caught in a dilemma of love. You are comparing the race to your loving idealized conception of it. In this case however you are losing sight of the actual people involved.

You are putting love on such a plane that you divorce yourself from your real feelings, and do not recognize the loving emotions that are the basis for your discontent. Your affection has fallen short of itself in your experience because you have denied the impact of this emotion, for fear that the beloved — in this case the race as a whole — will not measure up to it. Therefore you concentrate upon the digressions from the ideal. If, instead, you allowed yourself to free the feeling of love that is actually behind your dissatisfaction, then it alone would allow you to see the loving characteristics in the race that now escape your observation to a large degree.

There is nothing more pompous than false humility. Many people who consider themselves truth seekers and spiritual are filled with it. They often use religious terms to express themselves. They will say, "I am nothing, but the spirit of God moves through me, and if I do any good it is because of God's spirit and not my own," or, "I have no ability of my own. Only the power of God has any ability."

In those terms you are the power of God manifested. You are not powerless. To the contrary. Through your being the power of God is strengthened, for you are a portion of what He is. You are not simply an insignificant, innocuous clump of clay through which He de-cides to show Himself.

You are He manifesting as you. You are as legitimate as He is. If you are a part of God then He is also a part of you, and in denying your own worth you end up denying His as well.

Why the illusion of the ego is so precious?

The Ego’s Sacred Paradox: How Morning Silence, Present-Moment Magic, and the Illusion of 'You' Unlock Universal Connection

Adrian Hop

The Universal Drive Toward Optimal Choices

As I'm standing right now, right here, taking a walk, just contemplating the current moment, I'm noticing that there is a battle. There is a drive in my being to choose to make the best choice possible, and this is what we all do. We move toward what's best for us—or at least what we think is best for us—and this is the motivational mechanism that works the same for everyone. We move toward what we think is useful for us, and we move away from what we think is not useful for us. Now, if you've read so far, it means that you believe there is something that might be useful for you right here in this article. So, the motivation is always going to be the same for everyone. You are either going to move away from something, being afraid that something you don’t want might happen, or move toward something that you love.

Healing Belief: We move toward what we think is useful for us, and we move away from what we think is not useful for us.

Morning Rituals and the Clarity of Possibilities

The trick here is: How many possibilities does your system see at every moment? For example, when you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If the first thing is to take your phone and see your notifications and whatever else, that means your system sees that as the brightest possibility, the most obvious choice. And basically, that is because of your previous choices. Sometimes we choose that, but some people choose something else. For example, some people choose to take a few moments with themselves.

Healing Belief: I can choose to take a few moments for myself.

A Childhood Lesson in Morning Meditation

This is a funny story about when I was seven, eight, or nine—something like that. The first thing I was doing in the morning was just sitting, almost in a meditation state. If someone looked at me, they would see someone just sitting, not doing anything. I was natively doing that, and I was very, very small—a child. I forgot about that at some point in my life.

Healing Belief: I can choose to meditate first thing in the morning.

The Transformative Power of Silence and Connection

The beauty in spending a little bit of time with yourself in the morning is that you give yourself the chance to see more possibilities. You give yourself the time for your brain to start to take in more of the day, to take in more of what you can do during that day, and to actually make a choice—to set expectations for the day. Even more importantly, it gives you a chance to connect with your inner being. When you spend time meditating, for example, because of that silence—of course, if you manage to be silent—you will get this profound feeling of connection, of inner connection with your whole being. It’s when the silence occupies your mind. It’s when that connection is obvious. It is when you will start to feel inspired, and you will hear and get ideas that are coming from a higher place.

Healing Belief: I can take the time to connect and be inspired by my inner being.

Cultivating Awareness in the Present Moment

The trick here is: At each and every moment, how can we make it so we are drawn to something that is constructive for us? The fact is that we are always drawn to something that is constructive for us—without exception. We are either going to move away from something or go toward what we love. The trick here is that it’s not a matter of choice. It’s not a problem of your system making the right choice, but it’s a matter of your awareness and how many possibilities you see in your awareness. And this is where it gets very interesting. For example, right now, as I’m just recording this blog post, I can become aware. I can choose to become aware of where I am. I can be aware of my house. I can be aware of my car. I can see my car. I can see the trees outside my window. I can see the hills. I can see the houses. And as I’m doing that, as I’m looking around, I’m opening my awareness to the present moment. As I’m looking around my room, as I’m looking at my chair, my desk, my computer, the flowers that I have, as I’m looking at the couch, as I’m being aware of the ground, and as I’m being aware of the planet that is supporting me right now, I’m opening up new possibilities. I’m doing that, and I will start to feel very grounded, very connected, and very present through the simple act of opening myself up to what’s around me.

Healing Belief: I take a few moments and expand on the current possibilities that I register right now.

Grounding Through Environmental Awareness

This doesn’t take long. This is actually something that you can do in just a minute or two. But the more you do it, the more grounded you’ll feel. And amazingly, this is what’s going to get you connected also with your inner being because this is also an awareness that you can have. You can have this awareness of only what you are wanting to achieve and not have the awareness of the present moment—of what is happening right now. But that is not going to make you feel too good. When you start to have this awareness of what’s going on around you, looking around, seeing the world, feeling the support from the planet, this is what gets you very grounded. Because you see, the planet and everything around you exists. It’s real. And because it’s real, it’s powerful. It exists. And there is an immense creative power behind it—behind the trees, behind the grass, behind the rocks, behind the clouds. There is creation. There is this energy of creation that allows...

Healing Belief: I can take a few moments to observe what is around me, the objects, the trees, the buildings, the planet. The manifested reality is a powerful place to enjoy.

The Duality of Ego and Inner Being

I wanted to talk about your inner being because there is our ego, and there is our inner being. There is a duality here, which we are not very often aware of. The ego, in itself, is a priceless illusion that we all have. And the ego says something like, “I’m separate from the world, and I need to use the past in order to create my future.” I’m seeing that it’s a beautiful illusion because, without this illusion, I would not be able to enjoy the feeling of oneness, the feeling of love, the experience of unconditional love that is right now in every tree, in every house, in everything around me. Opening up to being aware of your ego is a priceless darkness that is allowing you to see the light. It’s going to expand your awareness, and it’s going to make it so easy for you to choose who you really are.

Healing Belief: The illusion of separation from the ego is allowing me to experience wholeness.

Oneness and the Eternal Now

Because you see, the ego promotes separation, and the opposite of that is oneness. There is no separation between me and you. There is no separation between the trees I see in front of me and myself. There is no separation from the planet and myself. It’s all one. I am all one with everything. And this becomes so clear in contrast with the ego. The ego says there is a past and there is a future. The present moment is only the connection between past and future. The opposite of that is: There is no past, there is no future. There is only now, and all the power is right here, right now, available to you each and every moment.

Healing Belief: The opposite of separation is oneness, being one with everything.

Thank you. But what if the opposite were true? What if profound shifts in your state of being—your joy, your purpose, your life—could begin in moments, not years? This is the radical truth at the heart of the Hearts Open Power (HOP) method, a practice that defies societal myths about who gets to heal, who gets to inspire, and what it takes to reclaim your light.

Maura, a practitioner of HOP Steps, shares this conviction in a voice message brimming with urgency:

“What I want to send to people is this uplifting feeling that we all can do it. It doesn’t matter if you’re famous. Seeing people that are not famous creating incredible, valuable things is so valuable.”

Her words cut to the core of a powerful belief: transformation isn’t reserved for the exceptional. It’s a birthright, accessible to anyone willing to embrace the tools—and the truth—that they already hold the power to rise.

The HOP Philosophy: Contrast, Consciousness, and the “Rainbow of Experience”

Adrian Hop’s HOP method isn’t about bypassing pain or pretending darkness doesn’t exist. Instead, it’s rooted in a paradoxical truth: contrast is the catalyst.

Healing Belief: “The contrast is there to uplift us. The contrast is there to allow us to experience happiness.”

This reframe—that suffering isn’t a failure but a necessary part of the “rainbow of our experience”—is liberating. It means guilt, fear, and even depression are not prisons, but signposts guiding us toward deeper alignment with our inner being.

The HOP steps, often practiced in the morning to set the tone for the day, act as a bridge between human struggle and divine guidance. A critical component is surrendering to what Adrian calls “allowing Source/God to heal you.” This isn’t passive resignation; it’s active collaboration. By acknowledging contrast and then consciously inviting a higher vibration, practitioners reclaim agency over their state of being.

Cara’s Story: From Seven Years of Darkness to Light in 45 Days

Cara’s journey epitomizes this philosophy. For seven years, she battled depression, relying on antidepressants and sleeping pills to function. Her mother, desperate, brought her to Adrian as a “last resort.” What followed was a revelation: Cara’s pain wasn’t a life sentence.

“The first step from HOP’s steps is for you to be aware that there is another possibility, that there is a priceless gift ready for you to embrace.”

For Cara, this meant recognizing that her depression wasn’t a flaw but a contrast point—a signal that happiness was within reach.

Through daily HOP practices, Cara learned to “listen to her inner guide” and trust that “each level of consciousness, each emotion is part of the rainbow of experience.” Within six weeks, she’d shifted so profoundly that Adrian knew “she would never go back to that low state.” The key? Cara internalized that no state is permanent.

“Everything is changing, and you can always use the HOP steps to uplift your state of being. This is not about removing the contrast but being aware that there are other possibilities.”

The Myth of Fame: Why You Don’t Need Fame to Create Change

Adrian’s reflection on Cara’s transformation carries a quiet rebellion:

“I was able to help her without me being famous, without having a lot of clients or experience… when others with more expertise weren’t able.”

This dismantles a pervasive lie—that only the “qualified” or celebrated can guide others. Maura echoes this: “We all have a very important… part in this world. Share what is precious to you.”

Adrian admits, “There was a time when I wanted to be famous. I thought people would only listen if I was.” But sharing the precious discoveries with others taught him otherwise. Healing doesn’t require a stage; it requires authenticity.

Healing Belief: “I can see myself as someone who can uplift myself and others. As I share I get to keep myself uplifted.” (540)

Thanks for reading Unfiltered Power, Unfiltered Healing, Unfiltered Beliefs! (540)

The most subversive belief here is that everyone carries a “priceless gift” waiting to be shared. Adrian’s work with Cara proves that impact isn’t about credentials—it’s about presence. When you operate from a place of raised vibration, you become a conduit for healing, regardless of your follower count.

“You are the whole universe… Share what is precious to you, because this is how you’ll keep it.”

This isn’t mystical fluff; it’s physics. Energy resonates. When you share your truth, you inspire others to seek theirs.

The Invitation: Your Turn to Rise

Cara’s story isn’t unique—it’s a blueprint. The HOP steps are simple yet profound:

Hearts (Put your point of consciousness around your heart)

Awareness: “There is another possibility. There is a priceless gift ready for you, right now”

Appreciation: “Appreciate your whole self and the gift you are about to receive“

Allow: Allow yourself to have desires, no limits, keep the feeling of the fulfilled desire, forget about the desire.

Open (Open to miracles)

Awareness: “There is resistance and you can become aware of it”

Appreciation: “Appreciate the resistance“

Allow: Allow divine energy to intervene. Allow yourself to be as you are while knowing what you value

Power (As you are now more gentle you will feel more power available to you)

Awareness: “The peace I feel now is a result of what I’ve been doing in the last few minutes”

Appreciation: “Appreciate your inner being for the pure unconditional love that is revealing“

Allow: Now you are in your power zone, with an inner knowing that you are the creator of your life. You can allow yourself to be inspired to act in a way that is extremely valuable to you and others.

Practice: Return daily to this state.

Share: Your healing becomes others’ hope.

You don’t need fame. You don’t need a crisis. You only need to decide.

Healing Belief: I can use my power, that is always here, to uplift myself and others. (1000)

Conclusion: The Universe Is You

The contradiction dissolves. Yes, transformation can begin overnight—not because it’s easy, but because it’s elemental. You are not separate from the power that shaped galaxies.

You are the whole universe. Share your light. It’s why you’re here.

“We all can do it,” Maura urges. And she’s right. The only question left is: Will you?

If you found this article valuable, don't keep it to yourself - spread the word! For decades, the Alexander Technique has operated on the premise that unconscious physical habits—like pulling the head back or stiffening the legs—are the root of poor coordination, pain, and effort. Teachers, armed with mirrors and hands-on guidance, aim to make these “misuses” conscious, believing that correcting the body’s mechanics will restore natural function. But what if the real issue lies not in the body’s “habits” but in the mind’s beliefs?

Healing Belief: My body’s coordination is perfect exactly as it is. (540)

In his revelatory essay, On Belief Systems and Learning, David Gorman, a seasoned Alexander teacher turned innovator, challenges this foundational assumption. Through a series of experiments and dialogues, he uncovers a radical truth: the physical patterns we label “misuse” are not unconscious habits at all. Instead, they are coordinated, whole-body responses to what the person believes they must do to achieve a goal. The real “misuse,” he argues, is not in the body but in the mind’s misguided beliefs about how movement works.

Unfiltered Power, Unfiltered Healing, Unfiltered Beliefs is a reader-supported publication. If someone stands with their head retracted, surely correcting that posture will help. But Gorman’s turning point came when a pupil disrupted this narrative entirely. After being told he’d pulled his head back while standing, the pupil replied:

“No, I didn’t! ... I’m sure that it happened, but I didn’t do it.”

This simple statement sparked a paradigm shift. If the pupil wasn’t consciously pulling his head back, what was he doing? And why did his body react that way?

The Pivotal Insight: Beliefs Drive Coordination

Gorman’s experiments began with a simple question: What are people actually thinking, feeling, and intending in the moments their “misuses” occur? By interrupting pupils mid-movement—sitting, standing, or reaching—he uncovered a startling pattern.

When asked where their attention was during actions like standing up, pupils consistently reported:

“I was already out ahead, focused on getting to where I was going.”

In bending to pick up a pen, they weren’t thinking about their bodies at all. They were “reaching for the pen”—mentally and emotionally invested in the goal, not the process. Their bodies, Gorman realized, were reacting to this mental “end-gaining.” The head pulled back, legs stiffened, and back shortened not as isolated habits, but as a unified, protective response to the person’s forward-rushing intention.

The Protective Wisdom of the Body

Gorman’s breakthrough came when he reframed these reactions not as “misuses” but as evolutionary safeguards. For example:

When rushing to stand up, leaning forward prematurely shifts the center of gravity. The body’s automatic response—pulling the head back and tightening the legs—is a balance correction to prevent falling.

Reaching for a pen while mentally “ahead” of the movement triggers a similar protective stiffening.

“These patterns are not mistakes,” Gorman writes. “They’re brilliant, whole-body strategies to keep you from harm—if you insist on moving in ways that defy balance.”

The flaw, then, lies not in the body’s coordination but in the mind’s belief that rushing ahead is necessary.

Healing Belief: My body’s inner coordinating system is going to do everything possible, even force, for me not to fall. (540)

The Experiment: Staying Present vs. Correcting the Body

To test this, Gorman asked pupils to focus not on their bodies but on staying present during movement. Instead of “inhibiting” their heads or backs, they were to simply notice when their attention drifted ahead and gently return to the moment. The results were transformative:

Movements became fluid and effortless.

“Misuses” like head-pulling vanished without direct intervention.

Pupils reported feeling “whole,” “present,” and paradoxically, “like I wasn’t doing anything.”

One pupil described the shift:

“I wasn’t ‘in my body’ at all. I was just… here*.”*

This revealed a radical truth: When the mind stops interfering, the body’s innate coordination emerges. The “primary control” Alexander sought wasn’t something to direct but something to stop disrupting.

Healing Belief: I can allow myself free so my innate coordination has the freedom to do itself. (560)

The Deeper Layer: Belief Systems as Reality

Gorman’s work exposes a critical flaw in how we view learning:

Traditional Approach: Fix the body to change the mind.

Gorman’s Insight: Fix the mind’s beliefs, and the body follows.

Every “habit” is rooted in a belief system—a mental model of how the world works. For instance:

“I have to lean forward to stand up.”

“Reaching requires straining.”

These beliefs feel like reality because they’re reinforced by sensory experience. When you rush ahead, your body does stiffen—confirming the “need” to hurry. But this creates a self-fulfilling cycle:

Belief → Action → Sensory Feedback → Reinforced Belief

Breaking this cycle requires exposing the belief as a misconception. When pupils discover they can stand effortlessly by staying present, their old model of “needing to rush” collapses.

Healing Belief: I can stand effortlessly by simply being present here and now. (560)

Implications for Learning: From Correction to Discovery

Gorman’s approach flips the script on traditional pedagogy:

Stop “Fixing” the Body: The body’s responses are logical; the mind’s beliefs are the leverage point.

Explore the Learner’s Reality: Ask, “What are you actually doing/thinking/feeling?” rather than assuming.

Challenge Beliefs Through Experience: Let pupils discover that their old strategies are unnecessary.

In one poignant example, a violinist struggling with tension realized she believed “I must press hard to create a good sound.” By experimenting with lighter touches, she found not only ease but richer tone—upending her lifelong assumption.

Conclusion: The Liberation of Unknowing

Gorman’s journey culminates in a humbling recognition: We are not the architects of our coordination but the witnesses. The body’s intelligence far exceeds our conscious understanding. As he reflects:

“The ‘use of the self’ is exactly that—what the ‘I’ is up to, not what my body is up to.”

This insight invites a new paradigm for learning—one rooted not in fixing “flawed” bodies but in curiosity about the mind’s stories. When we release the need to control, we find that ease, balance, and wholeness were there all along, waiting in the quiet space beneath our beliefs.

Healing Belief: My body’s intelligence far exceeds my conscious understanding.

In the end, the greatest contradiction is this: To change how we move, we must stop trying to change how we move—and start questioning why we ever thought we needed to.

David Gorman has been studying human structure and function since 1970. As an investigative journalist, McTaggart sought scientific validation for the idea that focused group intention can drive healing and transformation. The hosts emphasize her earlier work, The Field, which explores interconnectedness, setting the stage for her experiments with collective consciousness.

“She wasn’t just going to jump on the woo-woo bandwagon without some serious evidence.”

Part 2: The Significance of Eight

Summary: The number eight is explored as a “critical mass” for amplifying intention. McTaggart suggests eight people create synergy, likened to a choir’s power versus a solo voice. This threshold enables a shift from individual to collective energy, facilitating measurable impacts.

“Eight people create a kind of energetic threshold… where intention becomes amplified.”

Part 3: Scientific Experiments

Summary: Key experiments are discussed, including a geranium leaf study where biophoton emissions changed before intention was consciously sent. Another ambitious experiment aimed to reduce violence in Sri Lanka; while violence spiked initially, it later dropped significantly. EEG studies showed participants entering meditative states (alpha/theta waves) during group sessions.

“The changes started happening before the group even began focusing their intention.”

“The week of the experiment saw a spike in violence… but in the weeks that followed, violence dropped.”

Part 4: Healing Stories

Summary: Anecdotes of physical and emotional healing are shared, including Don Barry’s frozen shoulder relief, Marcia’s improved vision, and Susan’s pregnancy after infertility. These stories underscore the potential of collective intention to address chronic and terminal conditions.

“After one session, he felt this incredible release in his chest… his body was waking up.”

“She reported that her sight had dramatically improved… sudden clarity.”

Part 5: The Science Behind Intention

Summary: McTaggart ties intention to quantum physics concepts like non-locality and entanglement, suggesting thoughts operate beyond linear time/space. GDV technology revealed intention alters water’s energy fields, supporting the idea of a universal “field of consciousness.”

“Intention might operate outside our normal understanding of time and space… tapping into a field of interconnectedness.”

Part 6: Practical Application

Summary: Practical steps for forming a Power of Eight group are outlined: clarity in intention, positive framing, and creating a sacred space. Visualization and surrendering outcomes are emphasized, alongside starting small (e.g., finding parking) to build trust in the process.

“Be specific… ‘I intend to feel joyful and fulfilled in my work.’”

“Don’t knock it till you try it… experiment and see what happens.”

Part 7: Broader Implications and Conclusion

Summary: The podcast concludes by framing collective intention as a tool for societal change—addressing conflict, poverty, and environmental crises. McTaggart’s work is a call to harness interconnectedness for global good.

“We’re not powerless… we have the ability to come together and amplify our intentions.”

“A call to action… co-create a reality that reflects our highest aspirations.”

Final Takeaway:
The Power of Eight merges science and spirituality, urging readers to explore collective intention as a transformative force—both personally and globally.

Further read The Power of Eight: Harnessing the Miraculous Energies of a Small Group to Heal Others, Your Life, and the World

Note: I make a commision of referral links.

The Secret to Having it All? Yes, you read that right. It’s time to flip the script on how we think about achieving our goals and desires.

We've been conditioned to believe that if we just do enough, work hard enough, strive relentlessly enough, we'll eventually have the things we want, which will finally allow us to be happy, content, fulfilled, etc. But, as the Conversations with God series and other spiritual teachings suggest, this is a backwards approach.

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. It’s that simple. There’s nothing you have to do. You want to be happy? Be happy. You want to be wise? Be wise. You want to be love? Be love. That is Who You Are in any event. You are My Beloved.

The Be-Do-Have Paradigm: A Cosmic Misunderstanding

Most people operate under the assumption that having something (more money, a better job, a loving relationship) is a prerequisite for doing something (traveling the world, starting a business, writing a book) which will then lead to being happy, peaceful, content, or loved. This paradigm is so deeply ingrained in our culture that it feels like common sense. We believe, if we only have that thing, then we will finally do what we want, and finally be who we want to be. We're constantly striving to acquire, achieve, and accomplish, hoping that these external changes will somehow transform our internal state.

But according to the wisdom shared in Conversations with God, this is a fundamental misunderstanding of how the universe operates.... The true creative process works in the opposite direction. As the material puts it: "In the universe as it really is (as opposed to how you think it is), 'havingness' does not produce 'beingness,' but the other way around".

First you “be” the thing called “happy” (or “knowing,” or “wise,” or “compassionate,” or whatever); then you start “doing” things from this place of being-ness—and soon you discover that what you are doing winds up bringing you the things you’ve always wanted to “have.”

The Correct Paradigm: Be-Do-Have

The universe doesn’t work from the outside in; it works from the inside out.... It's not that having produces being, but that being produces having. The correct paradigm, is Be-Do-Have. We must begin with the being, then that being will drive the doing, and the doing will inevitably bring the having.... Here's how it works:

Be: This is where it all begins. Instead of focusing on what you want to have, focus on who you want to be. Cultivate the qualities, states of being, and emotions you desire to experience. Do you want to be happy? Then be happy. Do you want to be loving? Then be loving. Do you wish to be wise? Then choose to be wise. As the source material points out "In life, you do not have to do anything. It is all a question of what you are being."

Do: Once you've chosen who to be, then start acting from that place. When you operate from a state of joy, your actions will be driven by joy. When you live from a place of love, your actions will be those of love.... Your actions, your doing, will become a natural outflow of your being.

Have: The universe will respond to your vibration, your state of being, bringing you the experiences and things that align with it. When you embody the state of being you desire, that which you seek will flow to you.... The having becomes a natural consequence of your being and your doing.

Have I not told you that I will communicate with you in many ways—an article in a three-month-old magazine at the hair-styling salon, a chance utterance by a friend, the lyrics to the next song you hear? It is through these kinds of continuing “conversations with God” that I send you My eternal message: your survival is guaranteed. The question is not whether you will survive, but what shall be your experience while you are surviving? You are answering that question now, in what you call this lifetime, and what you call the next. For what you experience in the next lifetime can only be a reflection of what you have created in this lifetime, because, in truth, there is only One Everlasting Life, with each moment creating the next.

Why the Traditional Paradigm Fails

When we chase "having," we are usually focusing on the external and material things. This places our happiness and fulfillment outside of ourselves, making it dependent on external circumstances. And so we become trapped in a cycle of endless wanting.... We believe, once we get that thing, or achieve that goal, that we will finally be happy, but it is a never-ending cycle.

This approach also puts off our desired state of being. We tell ourselves that we will be happy, or peaceful, or fulfilled, or in love, once we achieve some external goal. This delays any experience of the very state of being that we seek, making us chase an ever-retreating horizon....

I have a favor to ask of You. Anything. Ask, and you shall receive.

Practical Applications

So how do we shift from the old paradigm to the Be-Do-Have paradigm? It requires conscious effort and a willingness to change how you approach life. Here are some actionable steps:

•Identify Your Desired State of Being: Start by clarifying what you truly want to be. Don’t just think about the things you want to have. Think about how you want to feel. Do you wish to be peaceful, joyful, abundant, loving, compassionate, creative, wise? Identify the states of being that are most important to you. For example, if you wish to have financial freedom, consider the being of someone who is financially free; What are their qualities? How do they feel? How do they act?

•Embody Your Desired State of Being: Now that you’ve identified your desired state of being, actively choose to embody those qualities. You want to feel peace? Then choose to be peaceful. Take some time to meditate, engage in mindful breathing, or spend time in nature. If you desire to be more loving, practice kindness and compassion. Be patient and understanding. Find ways to express love to yourself and others, remembering that "love is Who You Are, and who you have always been.". Act as if you already are the person you wish to be. As the sources suggest: "To “know that you know, act as if you do.”

And do not worry that then there will not be enough of “what you are not” left to create a contextual field within which to experience Who You Really Are. The whole Universe is your contextual field! All of your memory, as well. The elders and the wise among you often exhort you to erect monuments, to create special days and solemn rituals to commemorate your past—your wars, your holocausts, and all your moments of dis-grace. Why commemorate these? you may ask. Why keep bringing up the past? And those elders will say, “Lest we forget.” Their advice is more sound than you know, for in creating a contextual field in memory, you make it unnecessary to do so in the present moment. You truly can say “Never again,” and mean it. And in declaring this, you use your moments of dis-grace to create moments of grace.

•Act From Your Desired State of Being: Once you start embodying your desired state of being, let it guide your actions. When you are acting from a place of love, your actions will be loving. If you act from a state of joy, your activities will be joyful. Let your beingness guide you. Stop focusing on trying to "do" your way into a desired state of being, but rather, let your state of being guide your doing.

•Release Attachment to Outcomes: This is a crucial step. Trust that as you embody your desired state of being and act from that place, the universe will respond by bringing you the appropriate experiences and things. Do not get hung up on the "having". The universe will respond to the energy you are putting out. Be open and receptive. As the material says, "There’s enough. There’s enough of everything you think you need to be happy. There’s enough time, there’s enough money, there’s enough food, there’s enough love. . . all you have to do is share it.". Focus on being a source of what you seek.

There’s Enough, you will have given yourself a big clue on how you may apply the First Point, We are all One, if you choose. What does there’s enough mean? Exactly what it says. There’s Enough. There’s enough of everything you think you need to be happy. There’s enough time, there’s enough money, there’s enough food, there’s enough love. . . all you have to do is share it. I have given you plenty. There’s enough for all of you. When you live this truth, when you make it a functional part of your reality, there is nothing you are unwilling to share, nothing you seek to hoard—certainly not love, or food, or money. Does that mean we ought not to gather wealth? There is a difference between choosing to have something and choosing to hoard it. In fact, only when you know the truth that “there’s enough” can you easily have any of the good things in life that you, yourself, would choose.

•Practice Gratitude: Gratitude is a powerful tool for shifting your focus from what you lack to what you already have and from what you are becoming. This is where the present moment can be celebrated, instead of being viewed as an impediment. Cultivate a daily practice of acknowledging the blessings in your life. Gratitude will help you recognize that you already have the seeds of what you desire, and it helps you to be present in your desired state of being.

My dearest beings—I have always been in your hearts. I am only glad you can now actually feel Me there. I have always been with you. I have never left you. I am you, and you are Me, and We shall never be separated, ever, because that is not possible.

Yet on some days I feel so terribly alone. At some moments I feel that I am fighting this battle by myself.

That’s because you have left Me, My child. You have abandoned your awareness of Me. Yet where there is awareness of Me, you can never be alone.

How can I stay in my awareness?

Bring your awareness to others. Not by proselytizing, but by example. Be the source of the love which I Am in the lives of all others. For that which you give to others, you give to yourself. Because there is only One of Us.

•Be Patient and Persistent: This is a life-long journey, not a quick fix. There will be moments when you will lose sight of your desired state of being. It's okay. Just recommit and return to the practice.... Transformation is not an event, it is a process.

Be the source. Whatever you want to experience in yourself, You have said, be the source of it in the lives of others. Yes. This is the great secret. This is the sacred wisdom. Do unto others as you would have it done unto you. All of your problems, all of your conflicts, all of your difficulties in creating a life on your planet of peace and joy are based in your failure to understand this simple instruction, and to follow it.

•Embrace the Silence: Take some time each day for quiet reflection and contemplation. This is a way to connect with your true self and with the divine.... In the silence, you may more easily access your inner wisdom and the knowledge that you already have what you seek....

Simply move through your life as if everyone, and indeed, everything, is an extension of you. Treat all other people as if they were part of you. Treat all other things the same way.

Connecting with Other Teachings

This concept of "being" as the foundation of creation is echoed in other spiritual traditions. For example, A Course in Miracles emphasizes the importance of choosing to speak from the spirit, not the ego, which is to say choosing love over fear. This choice of state of being will dramatically affect your doing, and your having.

You can speak from the spirit or from the ego, as you choose. If you speak from spirit you have chosen to “Be still and know that I am God.” These words are inspired because they reflect knowledge. If you speak from the ego you are disclaiming knowledge instead of affirming it, and are thus dis-spiriting yourself. Do not embark on useless journeys, because they are indeed in vain. The ego may desire them, but spirit cannot embark on them because it is forever unwilling to depart from its Foundation. ACM

Additionally, these ideas align with the concept of "living in the present moment." When we are focused on the present moment, we are much more likely to experience our desired state of being. If we are constantly chasing some future "having", we are likely to be less present in our state of being.

The Power of Choice

The Conversations with God series stresses that we are all co-creators of our reality. We have the power to choose our state of being and create the experiences we desire.... As the sources say, “You are both the creator and the created, as am I.". The key is to move beyond the illusion of external sources, recognize that we already are what we seek, and then choose to live from that space.

Bring the blessing and the joy and the heaven in. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. I would not tell this to you if it were not so.

It's Time to Step Into Your Power

You are not a human doing, you are a human being5. The doing should spring from the being, not the other way around. When we align our being with our true nature (Love, Joy, Peace, Wisdom, Abundance), our actions will flow effortlessly from that place, and the universe will respond by bringing us the experiences and things that reflect that state.... This is the promise. This is how it works.

It's time to stop chasing external goals hoping they will somehow magically change our internal state. It’s time to step into your power, choose your state of being, and live from that space. When we do so, we'll find that we already have everything we've ever wanted. The source material makes it clear: "You are already what you seek to be. There is nothing that you have to do.". What are you choosing?

But—may I argue with You a bit here?—I thought You said that there was “nothing we have to do.”

I did say that, and there isn’t.

So what are we talking about here? Isn’t “carrying the message” something that I am doing?

No. It is something you are “being.” You cannot do the message, but only be the message, for you are not a human doing, you are a human being. You carry the message as you, not with you. You are the message! This is your spirituality in action. Do you not see that? Your message is your life, lived. You spread the word that you are. Is it not written: And the Word was made flesh?

Yes, but is this what that meant? Yes. How can I know that? I mean, for sure.

You have My word. You have My word, in you. You are, quite literally, the Word of God, made flesh. Now, say but the word, and your soul shall be healed. Speak the word, live the word, be the word. In a word, be God.

Oh, my word.

Exactly. That is exactly right.

Is that where this is going? I’m supposed to be You?

You are not “supposed to be,” you are. I’m not asking you to do anything, I’m telling you Who You Really Are. You are already what you seek to be. There is nothing that you have to do. And that is the Third Point in the Holy Wisdom Trinity.

But if I go out and try to act like God, people will think that I’m crazy.

They’ll think you’re crazy for being totally joyful, totally loving, totally accepting, totally blessing, and totally grateful?

A Few More Actionable Items:

Create a "Being" Affirmation: Develop a daily affirmation that reflects the qualities you want to embody. For instance, "I am peaceful and joyful," or "I am a powerful, loving creator." Repeat it regularly throughout your day

Practice Mindful Actions: As you go about your day, be conscious of your actions and ensure they reflect the being you are choosing. Are your actions loving, generous, kind, compassionate? If not, choose differently

Seek Out Positive Influences: Spend time with people who embody the states of being you desire. Read books and watch movies that uplift and inspire you. Be mindful of what you are feeding your mind

Be a Source of Love: Look for ways to give love, kindness, compassion to the world, to others, and especially to yourself. Remember that what you do to others, you are doing to yourself...

You are on a journey to mastery, and now it is time to get on with it. Embrace the holy moment. This is My message, and there is more. Be in the world, do not ignore it. Spirituality does not have to mean finding a cave and hiding out forever. Be in your world but not of it. Live with the Illusion, not within it. Yet do not abandon it, do not retreat from the world. That is not the way to create a better world, and it is not the way to experience the grandest part of you. Remember that the world was created for you so that you might have a context within which to experience yourself as Who You Really Are. Now is the time to do that. The world you have created may soon be uncreated by the lot of you if you ignore that world much longer, allowing it to go its way while you go yours, involved only in your own day-to-day experiences, and playing little part in seeking to co-create the larger experiences around you. Look at the world around you. Feel your passion. Let it tell you what part of the world around you that you wish to recreate anew. Then use the tools you have been given to begin that re-creation. Use the tools of your own society: the tools of religion, education, politics, economics, and spirituality. You can make statements with these tools, statements of Who You Are. Do not imagine that spirituality and politics do not mix. Politics is spirituality, demonstrated. Do not imagine that economics has nothing to do with spirituality. Your economy reveals your spirituality. Do not think that education and spirituality can, or should, be separate. For what you teach is who you are—and if that is not spirituality, then what is? And do not imagine that religion and spirituality are not one and the same. Spirituality is that which builds a bridge between the body, the mind, and the soul. All true religions build a bridge, not a wall. So be the builder of bridges. Close the gaps that have formed between religions, between cultures, between races, and between nations, join together what has been put asunder. Honor your home in the Universe, and be its good steward. Protect your environment and save it. Renew your resources and share them. Give glory to your God by giving glory to each other. See God in everyone and help everyone see God in themselves. End your divisions and your rivalries, your competitions and your battles, your wars and all your killing forever. End it. Put an end to it. All civilized societies finally do. This is My message to you, and more. If you truly desire to experience the world of your highest imagining, then you must love unconditionally, share freely, communicate openly, and create cooperatively. There can be no hidden agendas, no limitations on love, no withholding of anything. You must decide that you truly are all One, that what is good for another is good for you, that what is bad for another is bad for you, that what you do for another you do for yourself, and that what you do not do for another you do not do for yourself. Is it possible for you to act like this? Are human beings capable of such splendor? Yes. I tell you yes, and yes, and a thousand times, yes!

Conclusion

The journey to a fulfilling life is not about chasing "having," it’s about embracing our true being.... By flipping the paradigm and operating from the "Be-Do-Have" principle, we can finally step into the flow of life, and bring forth our greatest potential. Remember, "There’s nothing I have to have, there’s nothing I have to do, and there’s nothing I have to be, except exactly what I’m being right now."

This is your moment. For decades, forgiveness has been heralded as the pinnacle of spiritual maturity. Yet Walsch challenges this notion, inviting us to question: What if forgiveness is not the ultimate goal, but a stepping stone to something far more liberating?

We’ll explore Walsch’s 10-step framework for accelerating personal and collective evolution, anchored in the idea that healing emerges not from pardoning others, but from understanding. We’ll break down actionable insights from his lecture, weaving in profound takeaways about identity, divinity, and the purpose of human suffering. Whether you’re new to Conversations with God or a longtime reader, these ideas will reshape how you relate to pain, growth, and your own divine nature.

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. After all, aren’t we taught that forgiveness dissolves resentment and sets us free? Walsch argues that forgiveness, while noble, implies a subtle hierarchy: “I, the wounded, grant you, the wrongdoer, absolution.” This dynamic perpetuates separation, keeping us tethered to the roles of victim and perpetrator.

True healing, he suggests, arises when we replace forgiveness with understanding. When we recognize that every hurtful act stems from ignorance, fear, or unhealed trauma—not malice—we transcend the need to forgive. Instead, we meet life with compassion, seeing ourselves and others as souls in evolution.

This shift is not intellectual. It requires dismantling core beliefs about identity, God, and the purpose of suffering. Let’s explore Walsch’s 10 steps to embody this paradigm.

10 Steps to Accelerate Healing & Evolution

Each step has a Healing Belief that you can use to heal yourself. In order to experience each belief loving power, keep the belief in your mind for 17 seconds and then repeat 3 or 4 times. You’ll notice a shift and you’ll notice related thoughts. When your breath becomes satisfying and deep it means that healing started. Enjoy!

Step 1: Be Open

Healing Belief: There is much more to unveil about my life purpose. (1000)

Don't be close-minded to new thoughts, concepts, or ideas, even if they seem unorthodox. Be open to change and consider that you may have misunderstood things about God, life, and yourself.

Stay open. Be ready and willing to ask yourself the following question which I have placed before audiences for certain years. Is it possible? Just possible that there is something we don't fully understand about God about life and about ourselves the understanding of which would change everything.

Actionable Insight:

Practice “Beginner’s Mind”: Write down one assumption you hold about spirituality, relationships, or yourself. Ask: “What if the opposite were true?”

Engage with Discomfort: Seek out books, podcasts, or conversations that challenge your beliefs. Notice resistance without judgment.

Step 2: Find Out Who You Are

Healing Belief: I am a soul, whole and indivisible from God. (5000)

You are not your job, your possessions, your body, or your mind. You are a spiritual being, a soul, having everlasting life.

"You are not your body and you're not your mind. It appears that you are, but judge not by appearances. In my understanding your body and your mind are merely tools pieces of equipment used by who you are to move forward with your agenda."

Actionable Insight:

Daily Affirmation: Start each day with: “I am an expression of the Divine. My essence is love, wisdom, and creativity.”

Soul-Centered Journaling: When facing challenges, ask: “How would my soul view this situation?”

Step 3: Find Out What You Are

Healing belief: “In the absence of what you are not, what you are cannot be experienced.” (1000)

You are an individuation of divinity, a perfect expression of God in a unique form.

"The new idea I offer is that what you are in these three words is an individuation of divinity. If and when we accept and embrace this extraordinary definition of the self, it can rapidly and hugely advance our entire personal evolutionary process because it opens the door to what for some is a radical new way of seeing ourselves of holding ourselves in our mind's eyes."

Actionable Insight:

Reframe Challenges: When hardship arises, ask: “What aspect of my divine self is this situation inviting me to embody?”

Gratitude for Shadows: Write a thank-you note to a past struggle, acknowledging how it deepened your compassion or strength.

Step 4: Find Out Where You Are

Healing belief: I am experiencing the realm of physical created by the realm of spirit. (1000)

You are in the realm of the physical, one of three realms in the kingdom of God (physical, spiritual, and pure being).

"In my understanding there are three realms in the kingdom of God. The realm of the physical, the realm of the spiritual and the realm of pure being. Your soul moves between these realms throughout its eternal life."

Step 5: Find Out Why You Are Where You Are

Healing Belief: The physical realm is the context and the playground for your power of creation. (950)

You are in the physical realm to serve the agenda of the soul, which is to experience being an individuation of divinity. The physical realm provides a contextual field where you can experience the opposite of who you are, allowing you to know who you truly are.

"We see then, if you allow me to repeat for emphasis that the answer to why you are here in the realm of the physical is to complete the agenda of the soul and the agenda of the soul is for you to know who you really are as an individuation of divinity not simply as the concept but as an experience reality through expression and demonstration."

Actionable Insight:

Let-Go List: Write down three things you’re trying to control (e.g., a relationship, career milestone). Say: “I would prefer this specific outcome and I trust the Divine to guide this.”

Step 6: Assume the Role as the Creator of Your Own Reality

Healing Belief: You are the creator of your own reality. (1000)

Use the tools you've been given (body and mind), powered by metaphysics (thoughts, words, and actions), to create your own reality.

"Thought, word and action. Form the tripod of creation. And when you fully understand and fully use the powers of metaphysics, you have made another major advance in the process of evolution."

Actionable Insight:

The 24-Hour Experiment: For one day, monitor your thoughts. Notice shifts in your mood and interactions. Notice that even if this might be the most difficult thing you did in your life, it makes you feel so gooood! Say thank you to the thoughts that don’t serve you anymore and watch the magic happen.

Step 7: Understand That Your Life Has Nothing to Do With You

Healing belief: When you help someone, you help yourself. (900)

Your life is about everyone whose life you touch and the way in which you touch it. In a universal sense, you are doing everything for yourself because we are all one.

"Your life is not about you. It's about everyone whose life you touch and the way in which you touch it. And when you understand this, you will see that in a universal sense, in the largest sense, your life is about you for a very elegant reason. There is only one of us in the room."

Actionable Insight:

Service as Meditation: Perform small acts of kindness daily without expecting recognition (e.g., a heartfelt compliment, helping a stranger).

Question: Ask: “How do I want others to feel after interacting with me?” Let this guide your behavior.

Step 8: Understand That Forgiveness Can Be the Biggest Obstacle to Your Evolution

Healing Belief: I can gift myself the freedom to be as I am. (1000)

Discard the need for forgiveness. Instead, strive for understanding and compassion. God doesn't forgive because God understands.

“To forgive is human; to understand is divine.”

"On the day that you understand that you don't have to forgive anyone, you will never fall into the trap of lingering resentment or anger. On the day that you understand that you don't have to forgive anyone and you never had to forgive anyone for anything at all, on that day you'll be free."

Actionable Insight:

Be the change you want to see in the world: Choose a quality you want to embody (e.g., joy, peace, love). Act in accordance with that quality, and notice how it changes your experiences.

Step 9: Ask Yourself the Three Magic Questions of Life

Healing Belief: What I see in others is my own reflection. (1000)

What do daily events have to do with your soul's agenda?

What part of yourself can you find in another person that you're in relationship with in that moment?

What does God want to communicate through you and how?

"What does this have to do with the agenda of my soul?"

Step 10: Figure Out Your Life Purpose and Make New Decisions

Healing Belief: I can go straight into being who I want to be. (1000)

Figure out how to demonstrate your true identity as an individuation of divinity. Make new decisions based on the "be, do, have" paradigm.

"Figure out your life purpose and make new decisions."

In life, you do not have to do anything. It is all a question of what you are being.

Most people believe if they “have” a thing (more time, money, love—whatever), then they can finally “do” a thing (write a book, take up a hobby, go on vacation, buy a home, undertake a relationship), which will allow them to “be” a thing (happy, peaceful, content, or in love). In actuality, they are reversing the Be-Do-Have paradigm. In the universe as it really is (as opposed to how you think it is), “havingness” does not produce “beingness,” but the other way around. First you “be” the thing called “happy” (or “knowing,” or “wise,” or “compassionate,” or whatever); then you start “doing” things from this place of being-ness—and soon you discover that what you are doing winds up bringing you the things you’ve always wanted to “have.” The way to set this creative process (and that’s what this is. . . the process of creation) into motion is to look at what it is you want to “have,” ask yourself what you think you would “be” if you “had” that, then go right straight to being. In this way you reverse the way you’ve been using the Be-Do-Have paradigm—in actuality, set it right—and work with, rather than against, the creative power of the universe. Here is a short way of stating this principle: In life, you do not have to do anything. It is all a question of what you are being.

Actionable Insight:

Role-Play Your Highest Self: Spend 10-15 minutes daily visualizing yourself as healed, whole, and radiant. Notice how good this feels and how this shifts your day.

Conclusion: The Alchemy of Understanding

Walsch’s teachings invite us to heal not by rising above our humanity, but by embracing our divinity. When we replace forgiveness with understanding, we stop fighting life and start flowing with it. Pain becomes a teacher, not a tormentor. Others become mirrors, not adversaries.

“You are here to recreate yourself anew in each moment. The past is a story; the future is a possibility. The present is where God resides—and where healing begins.”

Final Action Step:
Choose one of the 10 steps to practice for 30 days. Observe how it transforms your relationship with healing—and with yourself.

“The fastest way to heal the world is to stop seeing it as broken.” —Neale Donald Walsch

Further read: Conversations with God Neale Donald Walsch 4 Books Collection Set

Note: I make a commision on affiliate links.

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. Even if at the first sight when we are concerned about something, it might seem to be connect with love, actually it's connected with a lack of trust. This is why when we believe that our concern is out of love for something is actually coming from a fear that what we want might not happen. I was so anxious that for the whole day after flying, I was a mess. But as it happened this time I knew a few things about myself. I knew if I ask for a new way of being, I could see the illusion of fear. So just before getting on the flight home, 20 minutes before getting aboard I started to experience that intense fear where I was feeling my heart pounding in my neck. And I knew 20 minutes would be just perfect for me to get another perspective. So I stayed with myself for that little bit. I used the HOP process where I simply focus on different concepts for a little bit, concepts like receiving a gift, gratitude, awareness, allowing, being open to miracles and allowing myself to be as I am. In about 10 minutes I got my answer, I knew why I was so anxious.

The light of truth will make all darkness instantly fade away as it was all an illusion, a very well put illusion, but still an illusion.

I realised that all the anxiety I was having was because of my lack of trust in the pilots and in the airline. As soon as I became aware of that, I immediately choose to trust them. As I did that it was as if a fog just lifted and I was able to see clearly. I saw that I have every reason to trust them. I also became very aware that my negative belief was that “I have to control the plane” … that really didn't make any sense so it disappeared as if it was never there.

As the plane took off I became aware how much of a privilege I have to travel so quickly from one part of the world to another. I knew all this was possible because of the work, creativity and intelligence put into the safety of airplanes. We can fly and that in itself is like a miracle for someone that doesn't understand how planes fly.

As you recognize a miracle there is only room for gratitude in your heart.

As you choose to have trust in yourself first, something wonderful will happen with you. You will be able to hear that gentle voice in your mind. This gentle voice will answer and guide you towards everything you want to know and be.

And it is trust that makes true giving possible. Healing is the change of mind that the Holy Spirit in the patient’s mind is seeking for him. And it is the Holy Spirit in the mind of the giver Who gives the gift to him. ACM

Playing with time

This is not a far fetched experience. It's possible to you, right now. All it takes is a little bit of faith, a little bit of curiosity and playing with simply not doing anything except listening while trusting yourself, while expressing love to yourself.

Try it for 17 seconds. It might seem as an eternity at the beginning, but do it anyway, because as you do that, a shift in focus happens and you'll want to stay like this, being, trusting and loving yourself forever. Time will dissolve just like an ice cream under the sun, as you'll simply be in the forever now.

If you are in the forever now, notice how much your awareness shifted , notice how you feel and ask yourself what does this mean? The world didn't changed but somehow everywhere you look you see something new.

How lovely does the world become in just that single instant when you see the truth about yourself reflected there. Hawkins, a psychiatrist-turned-spiritual teacher, blended clinical psychology and spirituality to create groundbreaking frameworks for personal growth. His work, including books like Letting Go, Power vs. Force, and The Map of Consciousness Explained, offers tools to navigate emotional blockages, raise consciousness, and unlock inner peace. Here are the key insights from a the deep-dive podcast discussion on his teachings.

Section 1: The Power of Surrender

Key Idea: Surrender isn’t weakness—it’s a conscious release of limiting emotions.

Letting Go Technique: Acknowledge emotions (fear, anger, guilt) without judgment, then consciously release them.

Example: A man paralyzed by dance-floor fear for 50 years surrendered his anxiety, leading to newfound freedom and joy.

Takeaway: Surrender removes the "emergency brake" on personal growth, allowing transformative chain reactions.

Section 2: The Map of Consciousness

Key Idea: A vibrational scale (0–1,000) measuring emotional states from shame (20) to enlightenment (700+).

Lower Levels:

Shame (20): Worthlessness, self-loathing.

Guilt (30): Blame, self-punishment.

Fear (100): Anxiety, control-seeking.

Desire (125): External validation chasing.

Pride (175): Ego-driven superiority.

Turning Point: Courage (200) marks the shift from fear to empowerment.

Higher Levels:

Neutrality (250): Inner calm.

Love (500): Unconditional compassion.

Joy (540): Radiating inner peace.

Enlightenment (700+): Oneness with universal consciousness.

Section 3: Power vs. Force

Key Idea: Lower levels (below 200) rely on force (manipulation, control), while higher levels operate through power (love, wisdom).

Force: Drains energy, creates resistance (e.g., aggression, domination).

Power: Aligns with universal flow, inspires cooperation (e.g., empathy, creativity).

Takeaway: True influence comes from elevating your energy, not forcing outcomes.

Section 4: Consciousness Calibration & Muscle Testing

Key Idea: Hawkins claimed emotions and beliefs emit measurable energy frequencies.

Muscle Testing: A controversial method where the body “strengthens” in response to truth and “weakens” to falsehood.

Skepticism: Critics question its scientific validity, but proponents argue it’s a tool for intuitive alignment.

Practical Use: Test decisions or beliefs by tuning into bodily responses (e.g., holding a thought and checking physical strength).

Section 5: The Database of Consciousness

Key Idea: A universal field of wisdom accessible through surrender.

How to Access It: Quiet the mind via meditation, release ego-driven control, and trust intuition.

Example: “Aha moments” and creative breakthroughs often stem from this collective intelligence.

Takeaway: You’re never alone—guidance is always available when you surrender to the flow.

Section 6: Practical Tools for Raising Consciousness

Daily Letting Go Practice: Observe emotions → label them → consciously release.

Affirmations: Reprogram limiting beliefs (e.g., “I am worthy” replaces “I’m not enough”).

Forgiveness: Release resentment to free yourself from energetic drains.

Gratitude Journaling: Shift focus from scarcity to abundance.

Service: Use your gifts to help others, amplifying joy and purpose.

Conclusion

Dr. Hawkins’ work is a roadmap for transcending fear and aligning with your highest self. By surrendering limiting patterns, calibrating your energy, and choosing love over force, you unlock a life of purpose and peace. Introduction: Ditching Diet Dogma

Traditional weight loss focuses on calories and exercise, but the podcast introduces a paradigm shift: your mindset creates your reality. By aligning your thoughts and vibrations with your goals, you can foster sustainable change.

Key Idea: Weight loss isn’t just physical—it’s energetic.

I strongly recommend reading Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires (Law of Attraction)

2. Vibrational Energy & Self-Love

Vibrational Escrow: Every thought and emotion emits a frequency. Negative self-talk (e.g., guilt over food) attracts more struggle, while self-love attracts positive outcomes.

Example: A woman who ate two dinners without guilt stayed slim because her dominant vibration was joy, not restriction.

Action Step: Replace criticism with affirmations like, “I’m grateful for my body’s strength.”

3. Inspired Action vs. Resistance

Inspired Action: Listen to intuitive nudges (e.g., craving a walk vs. forcing a gym session). Trust your body’s wisdom.

Resistance: Fighting yourself (“paddling upstream”) drains energy. Release rigid rules and embrace ease.

Analogy: Struggling with resistance is like shaking a snow globe—chaos precedes clarity.

4. Listening to Your Body’s Signals

Your body communicates through hunger, fatigue, and cravings. Honor these signals:

Rest when tired.

Eat mindfully without guilt.

Case Study: A diabetic woman improved her health by focusing on gratitude for her cells, not fixating on her pancreas.

5. Overcoming Negativity & Comparison

Comparison Trap: Judging others’ bodies often reflects personal insecurities. Celebrate your uniqueness instead.

Forgiveness: Release resentment (toward yourself or others) to unblock energy. Think: “What if my body is my ally?”

6. Gratitude & Positive Language

Gratitude Practice: Daily appreciation (e.g., “I love my legs for carrying me”) raises your vibration.

Word Shift: Replace “I’m fat” with “I’m creating a healthier me.” Words shape reality.

7. Practical Strategies

Awareness: Journal negative thoughts and reframe them.

Joyful Movement: Dance, hike, or stroll—no punishment workouts!

Mindful Eating: Savor meals without calorie obsession.

Community: Join groups that uplift, not judge.

8. Conclusion: Progress Over Perfection

Weight loss is a journey, not a race. Embrace setbacks as growth opportunities. Trust your body’s intelligence, and remember:

“Your cells regenerate with every thought. Choose love, not war.”

Call to Action: Start today—write three things you love about your body. Then, take one inspired step toward joy!

I strongly recommend reading Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires (Law of Attraction)

Note: I get a commision on every sale.

When I find new information, I change my mind. The hosts introduce two academic papers: one on the psychology of belief change and another on how scientists update their views. A key insight is that beliefs are often treated like "valuable possessions," retained for reasons beyond truth, such as emotional or social utility. John Maynard Keynes’ quote—“When I find new information, I change my mind. What do you do?”—sets the stage for discussing resistance to belief updates.

2. The Four Faces of Belief Utility: Why We Cling to Ideas
Beliefs hold value through four lenses:

Accuracy-Independent External Outcomes: Social benefits (e.g., religious beliefs fostering community ties).

Accuracy-Dependent External Outcomes: Tangible results (e.g., investing based on stock market predictions).

Accuracy-Independent Internal Outcomes: Emotional comfort (e.g., optimism about longevity).

Accuracy-Dependent Internal Outcomes: Emotional consequences tied to accuracy (e.g., disappointment after exam failure).
These categories explain why people might prioritize narratives over facts in historical interpretation.

3. Confidence vs. Certainty: The Role of Metacognition
Confidence in beliefs often overrides truth-seeking. The distinction between belief uncertainty (doubting a belief’s accuracy) and decision confidence (trusting a choice despite uncertainty) is explored. Low decision confidence, paradoxically, fosters openness to new information. Intellectual humility—admitting one’s limitations—emerges as key to updating beliefs, as seen in vaccine decisions.

4. Scientists and Belief Updates: A Case Study in Intellectual Humility
A study on psychologists’ responses to replication challenges reveals that scientists do adjust beliefs, though imperfectly. Factors like intellectual humility and personal investment in research (e.g., career stakes) surprisingly increased openness to contradictory evidence. This contrasts with the ideal Bayesian model, showing human complexity in belief revision.

5. History as a Mirror: Objectivity and Hidden Motivations
Belief utility’s influence raises questions about historical objectivity. The hosts discuss how emotional comfort, social identity, and desire for certainty shape historical narratives. They emphasize the need for skepticism and humility, using a listener’s anecdote about revising a simplistic historical view as an example.

6. Conclusion: Embracing Uncertainty in the Quest for Truth
The episode closes by questioning whether true objectivity is possible, given belief utility’s subconscious role. The hosts advocate for ongoing dialogue, intellectual humility, and curiosity. A final reflection challenges listeners: Can we separate our need for comfort from our pursuit of historical truth?

Key Takeaway: Beliefs about the past are shaped by psychological, social, and emotional factors—not just facts. Recognizing these forces can lead to a more nuanced, open-minded engagement with history.

Sources:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35939828/

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10909874/

https://www.cambridge.org/core/books/action-and-inaction-in-a-social-world/impact-of-past-experience-and-past-behavior-on-attitudes-and-behavior/15C17D98D1A153D1DD505020DEF2B0BF

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-021-01220-7

https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2023-44232-011

https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2008-18235-007

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32818386/

https://infosci.cornell.edu/content/new-behavioral-science-belief-change

The #1 lesson from the book Contesting: The Name It and Claim It Game

The #1 lesson from the book "Contesting: The Name It and Claim It Game" is this: Your mindset shapes your reality. This is a central theme explored in the podcast, drawing on the teachings of Jane Roberts and Seth. Their philosophy offers a revolutionary perspective on life, death, and the nature of reality, urging us to move beyond mere intellectual understanding and embrace the power of experience.

Reincarnation: A Self-Driven Course for the Soul

Seth's view of reincarnation is far from the traditional cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Instead, he presents it as a self-driven course catalog for the soul. Each life is carefully chosen to provide specific challenges and lessons that contribute to our evolution. This active selection of experiences is a testament to the soul's desire for growth and expansion.

The Role of Amnesia in Immersion

To fully immerse ourselves in the physical experience, Seth suggests that we undergo a self-imposed amnesia, forgetting our past lives. This is akin to an actor forgetting their true identity to fully embody a role. This amnesia allows us to have a genuine and powerful experience in the present moment, free from the constraints of past knowledge.

The Outer World as a Reflection of the Inner

Seth's philosophy emphasizes that our outer reality is a direct reflection of our inner beliefs and emotions. If we want to change the world around us, we must first look within. This is not about changing the external world through force but about transforming our inner world to reflect the reality we desire.

The Power of Experience Over Intellectual Knowledge

True knowledge, according to Seth, is not gained through intellectual understanding alone but through direct experience. It is through experiencing life fully that we can embody the qualities we seek to manifest. This is a call to live the questions, rather than merely seeking answers in books.

Death: A Transition, Not an End

Death is not the end of our journey but a transition to another state of being. Seth compares death to a change in the focus of consciousness, where the personality merges back into the larger self. This perspective challenges the fear of death and invites us to see it as a natural part of the evolutionary process.

Simultaneous Lives and the Interconnectedness of Time

Seth's idea that all lives happen simultaneously is a radical departure from our conventional understanding of time. He suggests that the past, present, and future are not separate but woven together in a larger tapestry of existence. This interconnectedness implies that we have the potential to access our past lives and understand the broader context of our existence.

Emotions as Guides and Messengers

Emotions are not just random feelings to be suppressed but powerful energy that guides us. Seth encourages us to embrace our emotions, to listen to them as messengers that provide insights into our inner world. By working with our emotions, we can transform them from blocks into powerful tools for growth.

Collective Consciousness and the Shared Reality

Our collective beliefs shape the reality we share. If enough people believe in scarcity and fear, those things will manifest in our world. However, by changing our individual beliefs, we can influence the collective reality towards a more positive outcome. This is a call to responsibility, urging us to be conscious creators of the world we live in.

The Eternal Nature of Consciousness

Consciousness continues beyond physical death, and we remain active participants in the creation of reality, even in other dimensions. Seth's philosophy invites us to see ourselves as eternal beings, capable of experiencing reality on multiple levels.

Conclusion: Embracing the Journey of Life

As we delve into Seth's philosophy, we are reminded that life is a journey of constant exploration and growth. We are not passive observers but active participants in the creation of our reality. By embracing the unknown, living fully, and embodying the qualities we desire, we can create a world that reflects the love and wisdom we all have inside.

This journey is not about arriving at a destination but about the experience of the journey itself. As we continue to explore the mysteries of life, death, and reality, we are invited to live with wonder, curiosity, and an open heart.

Final Thoughts:

The podcast offers a profound and expansive on the nature of reality, encouraging us to look inward with as much wonder as we look outward. By embracing the teachings of Seth, we can navigate the mysteries of life with a deeper understanding and a more conscious approach to our own evolution.

God talks to everyone (1000)

Did you know that God talks to everyone? We often believe that communication with God is reserved for the "holy" ones—prophets, saints, or those who have dedicated their lives to spiritual pursuits. But what if I told you that God talks to everyone? Yes, you read that right—everyone. The real question is: Are you listening?

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. Instead, it speaks to us in the language of our souls—through our feelings, thoughts, and experiences. These are the messages that are uniquely tailored to each of us, guiding us on our personal journeys of growth and discovery.

Feelings: The Heart's Whisper

Your emotions are more than just reactions to events; they are the heartbeat of your soul. Joy, love, peace, and even sorrow—are all ways in which God communicates with you. When you feel a deep sense of peace about a decision, that's God's approval. When you experience sadness or confusion, it might be a nudge to reassess your path. Pay attention to these feelings; they are divine cues pointing you in the right direction.

Thoughts: The Mind's Messenger

Your thoughts are not just random musings; they are often inspired by a higher power. Have you ever had a sudden insight or an "aha" moment that seemed to come out of nowhere? That's God speaking to you through your mind. These thoughts can be guidance, wisdom, or even a gentle push to take action. The key is to discern which thoughts are from God and which are from your ego or fears.

Experiences: The Life's Lesson

Every experience, whether joyful or challenging, is a lesson from God. Life's ups and downs are not random; they are carefully crafted experiences designed to teach you something about yourself and the world around you. When you face difficulties, remember that they are opportunities for growth. When you enjoy blessings, appreciate them as signs of God's love and support.

Why Do We Miss These Messages?

So, if God is communicating with us all the time, why do so many of us feel disconnected? The answer lies in our ability to listen. We live in a fast-paced world where distractions are everywhere. We are often too busy, too stressed, or too caught up in our own thoughts to hear the subtle voices of the divine. Additionally, many of us have been taught to seek answers externally, relying on others' interpretations of God's will rather than listening to our own inner guidance.

How to Tune In

If you're ready to start listening to God's messages, here are a few tips to help you tune in:

Practice Mindfulness: Take time each day to quiet your mind and connect with your inner self. Meditation, prayer, or simply sitting in silence can help you become more attuned to God's voice.

Journal Your Thoughts and Feelings: Writing down your thoughts and emotions can help you discern patterns and insights that you might otherwise overlook. It's a way of listening to your own inner wisdom.

Reflect on Your Experiences: Take time to reflect on both the good and the challenging moments in your life. Ask yourself what lessons you can learn from each experience.

Trust Your Intuition: Your gut feelings are often guided by a higher power. Learn to trust your intuition and act on it with confidence.

Let Go of Expectations: God's communication may not come in the form you expect. Be open to receiving messages in unexpected ways, whether through a conversation with a friend, a passage in a book, or a beautiful sunset.

Conclusion: The Journey of Listening

The journey of listening to God is a personal one, and it requires patience, openness, and a willingness to trust. Remember, you are not alone on this path. God is always with you, always communicating with you, always guiding you towards your highest good. The next time you feel a sense of peace, have a sudden insight, or encounter a life lesson, pause for a moment and consider: Could this be God speaking to you?

Are you ready to listen?

Further Reading:

Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations with God, Book 1: An Uncommon Dialogue

Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

Comment Below:
Have you ever felt like God was speaking to you through your feelings, thoughts, or experiences? There's a resistance in me, a specific experience that I recognize as not preferable.

The contrast is quite big, as I'm not used to having this low vibration, at least not lately. So I know I must have done something to have this experience.

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. This makes me feel and keeps me feeling weak.

Weakness comes by focusing on what I don't prefer.

I'm writing this from a lower state of being than I'm used to.

A lower state of being will reject everything that is of a higher vibration. Simply because, technically, when we are experiencing a lower vibration, a low feeling state, because of the intense narrowing we are actively doing, our awareness is narrowing also. This narrowed awareness will filter out everything that is not of the same narrative as what we are currently focusing on.

What keeps me still afloat now is my memory that a more pleasant state of being is possible, and I know it's possible right now.

But first, let's see how I got here.

How to feel low

If I were to teach someone how to lower their vibration, how would I teach them?

Here are a few ideas that pop into my mind now:

Watch the news!
This will be very easy for most to go lower, toward a more fearful way of thinking. This will also easily put you in a frame of mind that something is wrong.

The old method of making yourself unhappy works here also: start comparing yourself to others that seem to have more of what you want.
This will immediately make you miserable.

Think that there is scarcity. Scarcity of jobs, money, resources, etc.
This will make sure that you'll go deeper and deeper into the pit.

Think that other people or entities are greedy and want to take everything for themselves.
This will ensure that a fear-based attitude is cultivated in you.

Try to force what you desire to happen.
This will make you tired in under an hour.

Here are a few beliefs that need to be active in order to go in a lower vibration with the corresponding energy level. You can check the full consciousness map here.

I need to fix what I don’t prefer. (200 - Courage)

I need to have what other have or more. (90 - Regret - Anxiety)

There is a lack of resources. (110 - Anxiety)

I need to work hard to get what I want (100 - Fear)

As I'm writing the above from a lower vibration, my thoughts scream that yes! There is scarcity, you have every reason to be afraid, and yes, other people have more of what you want!

The gentle voice

At the same time, there is also a more gentle voice advocating for remembering my past pleasant memories. It tells me there might be something off with these thoughts. I see images of myself where I've experienced being very happy with much less, when it didn't bother me what everyone had. I know I was very happy in the moment simply by being as I am.

Here is the turning point where I get goosebumps again—when I trust that there is another possibility and a gift is ready just for me whenever I feel low.

This small window of feeling good reminds me that I can be the change that I want to see in myself and in the world, and all I need to do now is to find some kind of process that will uplift my state of being.

Belief: Power comes from focusing on what I prefer (1000)

The simplest way I know is to say, "Thank you!" from my heart.

Here are a few examples:

"I see that my focus is on lack of resources right now. Thank you, but I don't need to focus on that anymore. I would like to focus on what is abundant like what I see around me, like the big, beautiful planet I'm a part of, like the abundance of people that want to contribute to everyone's well-being..."

"Thank you! I believed I needed to fix the world before enjoying it. Now I prefer to enjoy what is enjoyable and already all around me."

“Thank you! I prefer freedom, flow, unconditional love, abundance, power, inspiration, allowing, trust in who I am, trust in the whole Universe focusing on what I focus on.”

“I see a lot of things that I don't prefer in current politics. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I value trust, collaboration, justice, sharing, knowing that we're all together on this planet.”

As I'm doing this right now, my vibration has lifted from 190 when I started writing this to 560. 560 being the frequency of healing.

I have goosebumps again.

I love this state. This inspired state, where my breath is so free that there is a sweet pleasure in every breath I take. This state where all I can think of is gratitude. Gratitude for who I am, gratitude for the planet, gratitude for all the wonderful people in my life, gratitude for all people, even those that, by their contrasting behavior, help me see so clearly what I prefer.

This is a wonderful state of being, a state of being where you don't have any more questions, but only an inner knowing that everything is exactly as it's supposed to be.

This wonderful state of being can be easily experienced by anyone. There are countless ways that people have created specifically for this, including:

Meditation

Prayer

AA 12 steps

Mindfulness

Hypnosis

HOP steps

Regardless of the process, a few common elements will show up:

Gratitude/Prayer

Allowing/Requests

Surrender/Letting Go/Trust

Awareness/Clarity

Focused Thoughts

And after going through the process, most of these elements will show up in your experience:

Trust and connection in being part of something bigger than its parts

Wholeness

Oneness

Free satisfying breath

Healing

Peace

Ease/Gentleness within your whole self

Inner knowing

Power

And here is where this newfound awareness includes everything. This awareness can see the beauty in the narrowing because it can see a much more expansive everything. This state of being allows me to see the “negative” as a shadow that helps me see where the light shines the most.

In the narrowed awareness state of being, when I was only looking at what I don’t prefer, all I wanted is to reject, fix or destroy it. In the expanded, joyful, peaceful awareness, I'm grateful for it.

HealingBelief.com -- Empowering Beliefs for a Healthier Life is a reader-supported publication. This is quite easy because all I need to do is allow information to flow through me, knowing that doing less is more.
We are all wonderful, bright, beautiful, free, and powerful beings. As you become aware of this, there is no need for anything else. Nothing is missing. Everything is right here and already available to us for the joy of our hearts. Even if this is so, there are moments when you don't see this as being the truth. Instead, you see something different, something much different, and that is — contrast.

The Contrast of Being

Contrast can make your heart feel small and afraid, and you can't wait to escape it. Often, this fighting, this resistance, becomes so ingrained in you that it's hard to even consider that you could be a bright, free, expanding, and happy being right now. More often than not, we get tired of waiting for a miracle and simply accept that we need to cope with what is.

HealingBelief.com is a reader-supported publication. As I write these words, right now… I have goosebumps.

Goosebumps as a Sign of Breakthrough

And in case you're wondering, goosebumps usually mean you've remembered something about who you really are. In other words, you get goosebumps when there is a breakthrough in how you see yourself, how you know yourself and the world. A breakthrough that helps you see yourself with a clarity you didn't have before.

Gratitude and Inner Knowing

So I'm expressing gratitude right now to my whole self for this wonderful feeling and experience. The gratitude itself gently brings me back to who I really am, further expanding my inner knowing.

The Power of Beliefs and Muscle Testing

It is from this inner knowing, that I want to bring the first belief: Doing less is more.

This is my second attempt at recording this and there was something off with my recorder and I expect this version to be even more wonderful, relevant, and healing for you. Since this site is named Healing Belief, it makes total sense to choose a belief that I personally believe has the power—true power—to heal.

The Power of 'Doing Less Is More' in Financial Sustainability

I can do more with less or doing less is more has inner power, just like any other belief. This specific belief has characteristics that can be applied in many areas.

One area that resonates with most of us is financial sustainability. It's easy to notice that whenever you buy something, the idea—the belief—behind it is often that you'll achieve more with less. If you look around and notice the things you own, you'll see that the most precious things are those that help you do more with less.

How amazing is life when we have a washing machine? You might not think about it now, but you've probably experienced your washing machine breaking down or not having access to one. Realize how much of a difference such an appliance makes—helping you do more with less—and how precious it is.

It's easy to see how this belief, this idea of doing more with less, contributes to a product's success. Simply think about different products and consider how this applies.

'Doing Less Is More' in Physical Well-being

Doing more with less isn't just for physical things; it's also for our physical well-being. I, and the people I work with, can testify to that. For example, when I suffered from chronic pain for seven years, I finally discovered a way of thinking that allowed me to do more with less. This gave my system the possibility, the freedom, and the space to do its magic, all stemming from this idea. I learned and applied this to all the things that were and are still precious to me—all the things that help me do more with less: to work with less energy, to be with people with less energy, to carry myself using less energy while doing more.

The Body's Ability to Do More With Less Energy

How is this possible? It's quite interesting because our bodies have this inherent ability to do more with less. Think about a sprint runner. The winner is the one who can run fastest with the least energy expenditure. Somehow they know how to manage stored muscle energy to run faster than everyone else.

An even better example is a marathon runner. How can someone sustain running for tens of kilometers or miles? This is only achievable because of an inbuilt mechanism that allows us to do more with less. If you're interested, research red fiber and white fiber muscles. You'll discover that red fiber muscles primarily use oxygen as fuel, while white fiber muscles use glucose. Sprint runners utilize white fiber muscles, which is why they sometimes collapse after using all their stored muscle energy in a short burst. Marathon runners mainly use oxygen.

It's amazing to be aware of this, and even more amazing to apply it to your life. It all starts with the belief that less is more.

Applying 'Doing Less Is More' to the Mind

Our mental mechanisms follow the same principle: Doing more with less. Your mind is optimized for this. Even more beautifully, our minds can choose; we can choose to hold this thought, this concept, this belief, in our hearts, in our whole selves. If you close your eyes and if you simply keep this, doing less is more, If you just keep this for a few seconds, 20 seconds, one minute, two minutes, you'll notice a change in your overall coordination. You'll notice how your vision changing. You'll notice how the ideas that come to you are changing. You'll notice how actually new ideas come to you. Who knows where they come from, but new connections are being made. Your mind changes, and along with your mind, your brain changes. It's simply amazing.

It is from this inner knowing that I know that some beliefs are more powerful than others.

In case you didn't know, you can measure the power of a thought or belief.

Measuring the Power of Beliefs

David Hawkins developed a method involving muscle testing. After I started experimenting with it, I discovered many amazing things like I can test food to see if it resonates with me, if it's good for me. I can also test pills, water, and even books. It's amazing.

Some books appear to be much more powerful than others, but everything has power, which is also very important to remember!

Everything has power: our thoughts, beliefs, actions, words, behavior, choices—everything. Everything is energy, and everything has power.

The Power of Beliefs and Their Influence

Furthermore, our beliefs directly influence our choices and subsequent thoughts. This is why, if you hold the thought doing less is more in your mind for a few seconds, you'll notice a change in how your mind thinks.

I really love David Hawkins's logarithmic measuring system, which ranges from 20 to 1000. He mapped our feelings and states of consciousness to energy levels. I discovered that I can also map beliefs and measure the power of each individual belief.

David Hawkins' Map of Consciousness

David Hawkins measured from 20 to 1000, representing the physical states of consciousness we can experience in physical reality. Interestingly, when I began measuring beliefs, they initially fell between 20 and 1000. However, I eventually found one that measured 10,000, which I found quite interesting. Then, more beliefs measuring over 1000 emerged.

The Power of 'Doing Less Is More'

Now, to get back to the belief doing less is more. This belief is specific to our physical experience, including our physical mind and body. So it makes sense that it holds power in the physical realm. The power of this belief, doing more with less or doing less is more, measures just below 1000, making it extremely powerful. Compare this to a belief like, in order to achieve things I need to work hard, which measures around 100. In terms of logarithmic energy levels, 10 to the power of 100 is insignificant compared to 10 to the power of 1000. If you explore David Hawkins's Map of Consciousness, you'll see that anything below 200 needs external energy to be sustainable.

Self-Sustainable States of Being

Anything measuring below 200, such as guilt, apathy, fear, anger, and pride, represents states of being that require external energy. Once we reach a state of consciousness above 200, it becomes self-sustaining.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

Thank you for reading and for being with me through this post about this first belief. I wish and desire to explore more beliefs almost daily.

While we can work hard and achieve things, it's much easier and more pleasant to think in a way that embraces doing less is more. As you start thinking this way, you'll first notice its effects on your physical coordination, physical well-being, and mental well-being. Then, you'll notice how the world around you begins to match this belief, which is quite an amazing experience.

However, I want you to be aware that neither the belief working hard to achieve things nor doing less is more is inherently good or bad. They are simply choices, ingredients we can choose to use.

Thank you for reading!

HealingBelief.com is a reader-supported publication.
